Ivana Zanierato remembers her formative years watching her grandmother working in her beauty salon outside of Milan, where an endless stream of women would enter the salon, and by the time they left were completely transformed, inside and out. To Ivana, her grandmother’s skills at improving and nourishing the skin, as well as her expertise in applying makeup, were akin to a magic act. By the time Ivana was 10 years old, she had a plan. Twenty-five years later, her dream has become a reality in the form of the Ivana Zanierato IVY skincare line, a culmination of Old World beauty methodologies and modern technology.
Ivana began her journey at the prestigious BCM Academy in Milan, where she honed her craft in the application of ‘artistic makeup,’ as well as special-effects makeup for theatrical and television work. Interested in other cultures, customs, and world views, it is fitting that Ivana’s thesis is titled Around the World through Beauty.

After college, she began her career as a professional make-up artist at the Italian TV station Mediaset; later she was hired as the personal make-up artist of European reality star Daniel Ducruet. Over the years she has collaborated with numerous artists, photographers and celebrities for events,premieres and fashion shows. A proficient multitasker, Ivana managed her father’s salon in Pavia, one hour’s drive from Milan, where she was responsible for 30 employees and the selection of the skin care products for the salon.
Keeping up with technological advances in the beauty industry, Ivana enrolled in the Deluxe Brows Academy in London and the Barcelona Beauty School in Spain, and attended the DermaPro seminar in Las Vegas, where she graduated in FibroBlast Plasma Skin Tightening procedures. She took these skills and offered her services to clients in salons and medical centers throughout Europe.

While residing in Barcelona, London, and the south of France, Ivana has enjoyed educating herself and experimenting with treatments and cosmetic products from around the globe. Now, having returned to Los Angeles along with her husband, Frank Zappa concert producer and independent film producer and sales executive Mark Holdom, she is ready for her new challenge: launching her brand, Ivana Zanierato IVY, consisting of her favorite ingredients -- gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, and caviar -- to the United States.
